ABOUT ERIK
Erik grew up in the Basque Country (north of Spain) where he developed an interest in anatomy and massage. His father became an Osteopath when Erik was young and when he was 18 years old Erik decided he wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps. He moved to London to study in one of the most prestigious colleges in Europe, recognised for its holistic approach to Osteopathic education.
Five years later Erik qualified from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine with a Masters in Osteopathy and a Diploma in Naturopathy. He also trained in dry needling otherwise known as medical acupuncture.
Erik has gained experience treating all kinds of sports injuries and biomechanical imbalances. His techniques are clinically proven to improve flexibility, circulation and muscle tone. He promotes muscle regeneration via neurological stimulation. Treatments are focused on the symptomatic areas as well as other areas that contribute to biomechanical dysfunction.
He also understandS the importance of developing a strong and stable muscular system to support our body’s joints – and so he is trained to provide patients with the correct rehabilitation exercises to provide long term relief from aches and pains.
Erik has a sporting background in swimming and is a CrossFit fanatic.
